Delivered from capture

Peter had been ministering in a crusade in an African country and people were being saved,healed and set free from all kinds of bondages – God was moving mightily! The authorities, however, were not overjoyed as this particular country has a king who is steeped in witchcraft. His government had already imprisoned a Christian brother for speaking out about the king and his ungodly ways. 

Peter preached in several services and was due to preach that evening when the Lord spoke to him and told him to get out of the country. He knows the voice of the Lord and when He speaks, he listens. The evening meeting was cancelled, his flight changed and he left town. The pastor later called and told Peter that right after he left the hotel for the airport, several government officials arrived at the stadium to “speak to him”. They were furious when they heard he was not ministering there that evening. Once again, God had delivered him from a potentially dangerous situation and probably from prison in a foreign country.

2 Tim 3:12-13
