Battle Cry! - Part Two

Servant of the Most High,
 You have to forget the past. None of us have wholly followed Christ. None of us have been entirely faithful to Him even after making Him Lord. I don’t care how horrific you think your sin might be. Jeffery Dalmer, a murdering cannibal and sex offender, allegedly made Jesus the Lord of his life in prison before he died. If he did, he is celebrating the atoning power of Jesus’ unfathomable blood in Heaven right now. God saw your sin before the foundations of the world and provided cleansing for it. When you repent of sin, God forgives you and literally forgets it. Don’t confuse Him by bringing it up it or letting it hold you back. He doesn’t know what you’re talking about! Remember that expensive blood? It is as powerful as it was expensive! Not a trace of your sin is left.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
The blood of Christ has paid for it. I warn you again, don’t count that blood as cheap. It is divine blood. It is costly blood. Don’t dwell on the past. Your shame has been removed by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. If Satan reminds you of your past, remind him of his future. In fact, show Satan a puzzled look and tell him you don’t know what he’s talking about. Tell him you remember repenting of sins but you can’t remember what because they were washed away completely by the blood of Jesus Christ. Completely! The more he persists, the more you laugh at him. He’s a loser. He has lost the war and he’s still trying to fight. He always will be a loser. Don’t even entertain him. Command him like you would a beast. Stomp your foot, shout “GET!” and he will run screaming. Every time! Use your authority over him.
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." James 4:7
I guarantee that when you actually begin to fight in this war it will not be easy… but it will be so well worth it. Persecution is unavoidable, but are you a weakling? Are you a coward who runs from a fight? Not if you have the Holy Spirit inside you! The same Spirit that empowered Samson to kill a thousand men with the jawbone of a donkey. The same Spirit that empowered David to kill a ten foot warrior giant. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, lives in YOU. We don’t fight against evil people now but against Satan and his army of pansy devils. All they can do is bark, unless you invite them to bite. You must fight and subdue them with spiritual weapons. The Holy Spirit is just as powerful to overcome them now as He was then. In fact, because He lives in you, you have Him available twenty-four-seven. Your weapons are so powerful through God to destroy the enemy’s strongholds. Cultivate the nine fruits of the Spirit and you’ll become a light-warrior of legend. When you suffer for the Gospel’s sake, you’ll shout with joy because you know the outcome will only be more  glory! Prepare yourself. Commit to yourself today to stand firm in Christ no matter what happens, and you’ll see things happen in your life you have never dreamed of. Good things. Amazing things. Powerful things.
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" 2 Corinthians 10:4
God cannot use people without faith. Just like Noah, you will be called crazy. That’s how you know you’re doing something right. As long as you stick to the Word of God, stand firm in your beliefs, walk in love and listen to elders’ counsel, you’ll remain in the will of God. Always, I repeat, always follow through on your vows to God. He is not a man that forgets promises. He cannot lie and expects the same from you. He rewards those who diligently seek Him. He’s the best investment of time and resources you’ll ever make. You’ll be like a tree planted by a pure, healthy river - well watered and blessed. You’ll lead many to righteousness and shine like a star forever in eternity. You’ll store up wealth for yourself in Heaven that will never be corrupted or stolen, or fade away.
"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6
I saved the best news for last. You have been given a ministry! It is the simplest but most profound and mind-blowing ministry you’ve heard of. This war is not defensive. We are instructed to occupy. That means to forcefully advance. What is our objective? Reconciliation. We have been tasked with reconciling as many in this world as possible to their God. He has purchased their salvation and they have no idea. They are sitting on a blank check written by the Owner of the universe and they have no idea how to cash it. They will mock you because it seems too simple, too good to be true. Their minds are darkened by ignorance and sin and they have no idea how to keep their carnal nature in check. But the Holy Spirit is speaking to their hearts, even if they hear Him faintly. You are His amplifier.
"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation" 2 Corinthians 5:18
You must have compassion on them or they will die forever. Without your help they will enter eternity without receiving their priceless gift of life, freedom, hope, love and above all – redemption. How complacent must you be to possess this knowledge and watch your friends and family enter eternity separated from God? You’re shy? Are you ashamed of this infinite power and truth? No, I can’t believe that. I believe this very day, your heart has been stirred. Your eyes have been opened. You can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit all over you as you read this. It is up to you now. You must follow through  and fill yourself with God’s Word. Receive the Holy Spirit’s power and listen for His voice. It will always be in line with His Word. Surround yourself with like-minded believers who will help you grow. Set the example in love for those who are still blind and show them the Light. God is going to do amazing things with you. Servant of God, you must step into your destiny.
"Then the master said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges and urge and constrain [them] to yield and come in, so that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23 (Amplified Translation)
May the grace of our mighty Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ be upon you from this day forward.
