Celebrating Life In Christ

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.' Jeremiah 33:3
What A Privilege To Serve The Living God
On January the 26th, 2010 we celebrated our twenty fourth year of full time ministry, and on May 27th we will celebrate 30 years of knowing and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. What a privilege! I am forever grateful to Jesus for turning my wayward life into a life of love, joy and peace. He is the only way, the truth and the life. He saved my family and I from a depressed and fearful past and translated us into His glorious kingdom.
When I look back on my life, from the day I came to Christ it has been nothing short of a divine adventure. Everything about serving the Lord is an adventure. One never knows where you will find yourself when you are sold out to God. He transforms you from day to day as you seek His face and His will for your life. If you seek to be led by His Spirit you will flow with the anointing that we received from our Holy King. Hallelujah!
Over the years the Holy Spirit has led and guided us throughout South Africa, building up the body of Christ and bringing revival and hope to churches. He also led us through several countries in Africa stirring up leaders, holding crusades and seeing thousands come to the Lord. We have seen tens of thousands come to him in the streets, in prisons, in schools and churches, and still see lives changed on a daily basis. It is truly amazing what the Lord can do when you take up your cross and follow Him every day. Everything about our mighty Jesus is an adventure.
Our journey has even taken us to different parts of Europe, preaching and teaching His mighty Word with amazing signs following. For the past sixteen years we have also travelled extensively throughout the USA, preaching in forty states, going into prisons and training and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. The adventures I experienced in my days of hunting, fishing, camping and exploring cannot even begin to compare with the adventures in God. I give Him all of the praise for what He has done in mine and my family’s life.
“God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.” 1 Corinthians 1:9 (TMB)
Allow Him To Use You
I can truly say that if He has used me and worked through me then He can surely use you too. With the myriad of resources available today to help you in your walk or with witnessing, we really don’t have any excuse when it comes to serving the Lord with our gifts and our talents. If He has saved you and delivered you, then you have a testimony that others need to hear.
This is the hope and confidence in serving the Lord and taking His gospel to the ends of the earth: Lives are changed before your very eyes, tears of joy are shed, families are drawn together, and people finally have hope for the future through an encounter with the living God, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
“If we who are [abiding] in Christ have hope only in this life and that is all, then we are of all people most miserable and to be pitied.” 1 Corinthians 15:19 (AMP)
Praise God we can, with boldness and confidence, preach this glorious gospel of Christ, knowing that we have our faith and hope in Him. Nothing can compare with the peace and tranquility He has given us through salvation.
So I encourage you to look at others through the eyes of Jesus. Allow His compassion, His love, and His grace to flow through you as you reach out to others. Romans 5:8 says “…while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” He loved us unconditionally – the least we can do is follow His example. Let the life and light of Christ flow through you, as there is always someone lost or hurting that you can reach out to.
God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians1:9 (AMP)
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
