You Win Souls Because You Are Wise

 “The fruit of the [uncompromisingly] righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise captures human lives [for God, as a fisher of men — he gathers and receives them for eternity].” Proverbs 11:30 (AMP)
You are not wise because you win souls; you win souls because you are wise! Those who win souls have obeyed the greatest commandment given to every person who calls themselves a Christian; and this is to go and share the Good News to all people.
There are many who have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior but have forgotten their initial experience with Him and now take their salvation for granted and are not being effective witnesses for Him. Many would say, “God is a good God and He knows the trials I have gone through, He knows I am a shy person and it’s not easy for me to openly witness to people about the Lord”. Be encouraged - God uses imperfect people who have experienced difficulties, failures and weaknesses to minister to others. The circumstances and situations we have been delivered from will allow us to relate to those in need, bringing glory to God.
“For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. ” 1 Corinthians 1:26-29
We were born into a world of sin, fear, doubt and unbelief. Everything in the world system is totally opposed to what the kingdom of God stands for. Satan’s plan is to draw us away from the Word of  God. His plan is to destroy everything that righteousness stands for. We were born-again of the Spirit of God, who is holy, righteous and truth; the Bible calls Him the Spirit of glory, the Spirit of power and might. Hallelujah! We now operate by His power, His love, His mercy and grace.
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)
We need to get the Word into our spirits, we need to grow and mature in the knowledge of Christ, so that we are not ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). The Word is filled with golden nuggets that we can live by. The greatest thing you can do for others is to regard their spiritual well being. This was the sole purpose for Jesus coming to the earth.
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10
God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die on a wooden cross for all of humanity. He doesn’t want one to perish, but all to come to the knowledge of the truth of the Son of God. This is the reason we should be leading people to Christ. This is true wisdom from above. You might ask, “Where do I begin? What can I do?” Share what Jesus has done for you - don’t see it as something difficult, just be yourself and have true concern for the future of others. Every person wants to hear good news - especially today where we live in an unstable world without any hope.
The text in this devotional says “the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.” You and I became righteous because Christ became sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). The righteous now tell of God’s righteous ways. Tell them that Jesus is the only way, truth and the life and nobody will come to the Father except through Christ. When you truly fall in love with Jesus, you will automatically want to share His grace and mercy.
 "And those who are wise - the people of God - shall shine as brightly as the sun's brilliance, and those who turn many to righteousness will glitter like stars forever.” Daniel 12:3 (TLB)
Remember, you win souls because you are wise and have accepted what Christ went through to save you. Share His amazing grace with others - lead and guide them to the Cross where they can see their wrong and sinful ways and experience the unmatched love of God. Help them to enter the kingdom of God. When we leave the earth, there is nothing we can take with us except people. All glory to Jesus for His amazing grace!
